  • Classes: BodyAttack, BodyPump, BodyBalance, Les Mills Core, Les Mills Shapes, Grind Group Training

I’ve been teaching group fitness since 2012, starting with my first love, BodyAttack.

I always dreamed of having my own group fitness studio. When thinking about the perfect location in Memphis, it was a no-brainer to choose a spot near my friends at Lulu’s Cafe & Bakery, a plant-based kitchen, as I’ve been vegan for 15+ years!

I also have a PhD in sociology and have taught for many years at the University of Memphis and Florida State University.

I have two cats at home, bell and Simone.

  • Classes: BodyPump

Former elementary school teacher, and now I'm all about mixing my love for education with my passion for fitness through teaching Body Pump. Shoulder tracks are my jam-especially those MAC raises!

When I'm not in the gym, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and two kids, working in our new garden, or kicking back with a sweet tea.

I’m excited to have you join the Body Pump fun!

  • Classes: BodyPump

Dedicated BodyPumper since 2002, I love the community of group fitness and am honored to teach, encourage, and support participants in my BodyPump classes.

My favorite track in BodyPump is the back track.

I love to read and travel with my family.

  • Classes: BodyPump and BodyBalance

I took my first Pump class in 2009 and was immediately hooked!! Once my kids were older, I decided to go through BodyPump training and began teaching in 2015. I added BodyBalance to my certifications in 2017. My most favorite move in BodyPump is squats (duh)! And my most favorite pose in BodyBalance is tree pose.

The best part of instructing is connecting with the members and helping them see their strength and abilities. No matter what age or stage in your fitness journey, you belong and I will support you along the way.

  • Classes: BodyPump, BodyAttack, Grind Group Training

I’ve been teaching group fitness since 2017 and haven't looked back! I have 3 kids and find that working out fills up my bucket so I can be at my best for my family and fur baby at home. In each of my classes, I strive to help my participants fall in love with the body they are in today. Movement is a privilege and our workouts are our celebration of that!

  • Classes: Les Mills Shapes, Core, BodyBalance, BodyPump

I’m thrilled to be on the team at GGF!  I’ve been consistently working out for the past 15 years, but I was introduced to group fitness 5 years ago and it changed my entire life.  Group fitness taught me how to have a work/life balance, create healthier boundaries, and also has afforded me the opportunity to build community with some of the most amazing people.  It’s very heartwarming to see individuals take time out for themselves to achieve their fitness goals and become confident in knowing that they’re not going to be judged because goals vary from person to person.

I became vegan 5 years ago which taught me to be more intentional about leading by example because what we put in our bodies should align with our fitness goals.  I think if we stop calling these “goals” and “diets” and make them a lifestyle, we’re more capable of achieving them without having unrealistic expectations of ourselves.

  • Class: Les Mills Core

I became a certified Les Mills instructor in 2022.

I am a math teacher by day, but I have always loved fitness and pushing my body to new heights. I think it is important for us to take care of our bodies in a way that allows us to do more in our everyday lives and fitness is one of the ways I try to do this.

When I am not teaching or working out I can be found reading, hiking with my husband, or drinking coffee.

  • Classes: BodyAttack, BodyBalance

I have been teaching BodyAttack since 2020 and BodyBalance since 2022.

I love BodyAttack because it's an hour to let go and just have fun while moving your body. There are lots of options to make everyone feel comfortable and successful, but the energy is always amazing.

BodyBalance offers such a variety of movements - strength, flexibility, mobility, and relaxation. It's really the best of yoga, pilates, and tai chi!

I enjoy hanging out with my family, cooking, and cheering on the grizz!

  • Classes: BodyPump and Grind Group Training

I’ve been teaching group fitness classes since 2014, but was first introduced to the fitness world via my mom who teaches yoga/pilates.

During the day, I am a K-8 school counselor and talk to my students a lot about mental health while also emphasizing the importance of physical health.

I love group fitness because it encompasses it all: encourages you to grow mentally, physically, socially and emotionally.

My other hobbies include traveling and all things sports, especially Philadelphia (go birds)!

  • Class: Yoga

I am a certified yoga teacher who has completed 500 hours of training. I also hold certifications in Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Aerial Yoga, and Silver Sneakers.

I’ve always loved movement. When I was introduced to yoga 16 years ago, I immediately fell in love. Yoga is holistic - it combines physical, mental, and spiritual practices. It’s also fun.

You don’t need to be flexible or experienced to do yoga. Options are the name of the game, and I’ve got a lot for you!

I love being an instructor because I am able to help my students discover their strength, self-compassion, confidence and joy.

I enjoy travel, good food, time with friends and family, working out, learning (self-proclaimed nerd), my dogs, and being of service.
